I am a Parent/ Carer

Havering SENDIASS is an information, advice and support service for Havering residents.

Our aim is to empower parents, carers, children and young people by providing you with information and advice on SEND related issues so that you can make informed decisions and take the next steps independently.

You can contact us as and when needed. Due to the increasing demand for our service and in order to keep waiting times to a minimum for time-sensitive cases, we triage each case on an individual basis.

The vast majority of enquiries we receive are resolved through a one off contact, either over the telephone or via email. Where appropriate, we follow this up by emailing you relevant information and signposting you to the appropriate services.

Our level of involvement is informed by the national guidance for IAS services. Following triage, a small percentage of our enquiries may require more intensive ongoing casework and support due to their complexity and/or specific needs and vulnerabilities of our service users.

Please watch these videos to find out what the SEND information, advice and support service (SENDIASS) can do for you.
