British Dyslexia Association (BDA)

Challenging Behaviour Foundation
We are the charity for people with severe learning disabilities whose behaviour challenges. We’re making a difference to the lives of children and adults across the UK through

The Down's Syndrome Association offer Information Advice and Support about Down's Syndrome. Here you will find answers to questions that are often asked about Down’s syndrome.

The Dyspraxia Foundation offers Information Advice and Support to discuss problems and issues you may encounter with Dsypraxia; offering help and advice to people with dyspraxia, parents, carers, and families about or on the subject of dyspraxia.

Family Fund
Family Fund is a nationwide charity who helps families across the UK who are raising disabled or seriously ill child/ren or young person aged 17 or under. Grants can be applied for a range of different things such as washing machines, furniture, sensory toys and clothing. MENCAP
MENCAP services provided range from round-the-clock care to helping someone join in with local leisure activities, providing advice and information on things like employment and education, helping someone to live independently for the first time, and even things like reporting a crime to the police.

The National Autistic Society is the leading UK charity for autistic people (including those with Asperger syndrome) and their families. They provide a wide range of support on matters relating to Education, Health and Family life.

Papyrus UK - Suicide Prevention Charity
Papyrus is the UK Charity for the prevention of young suicide (under 35). They provide Information Advice and Support through their website resources and dedicated HOPELINE available for families. Children & Young People can phone the helpline themselves for support.
Rainbow Trust – Children’s Charity
Rainbow Trust supports families who have a child aged 0-18 years with a life threatening or terminal illness and are in the greatest need. Any family can receive support from the moment of their child or young person’s diagnosis.

Whizz-Kidz Mobility Equipment
Whiz-Kidz provides a range of mobility equipment to children and young people with a physical disability to give them independence at home, at school, and at play. If the local NHS Wheelchair Service does not provide equipment to meet the essential mobility needs of your child then they may be able to help.
