The BDA is the voice of dyslexic people. They aim to influence positive change to influence and promote a dyslexia friendly society that enables dyslexic people of all ages to reach their full potential. They offer information, advice and support regarding dyslexia.

Challenging Behaviour Foundation
We are the charity for people with severe learning disabilities whose behaviour challenges. We’re making a difference to the lives of children and adults across the UK through

The Down's Syndrome Association offer information, advice and support about Down's syndrome.

Dyspraxia Foundation
The Dyspraxia Foundation offers information, advice and support to discuss problems and issues you may encounter with dsypraxia; offering help and advice to people with dyspraxia, parents, carers, and families about or on the subject of dyspraxia.

Family Fund
Family Fund is a nationwide charity that helps families across the UK who are raising disabled or seriously ill child/ren or young person aged 17 or under. Grants can be applied for a range of different things such as washing machines, furniture, sensory toys and clothing. Family Lives aims to transform the lives of families by supporting parents at building happier relationships. The aim is for happier families and a stronger society. They offer support on a wide range of topics such as bullying, teenagers, early years and family life.

IPSEA offers free and independent legally based information, advice and support to help get the right education for children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

KIDS is a charity that offer a wide range of services to children and young people with SEND and their families.

MENCAP
MENCAP services provided range from round-the-clock care to helping someone join in with local leisure activities, providing advice and information on things like employment and education, helping someone to live independently for the first time, and even things like reporting a crime to the police.

National Autistic Society (NAS)
The National Autistic Society is the leading UK charity for autistic people (including those with Asperger syndrome) and their families. They provide a wide range of support on matters relating to education, health and family life.

Papyrus UK - Suicide Prevention Charity
Papyrus is the UK Charity for the prevention of young suicide (under 35). They provide information, advice and support through their website resources and dedicated HOPELINE available for families. Children & young people can phone the helpline themselves for support.

Tourettes Action
Tourettes Action is a national charity dedicated to supporting individuals with Tourette syndrome and their families. Their aim is to ensure people with Tourette syndrome are accepted, supported and embraced.
They provide a range of services including a dedicated helpdesk to provide pre and post Tourette's diagnosis, online and face to face support groups and an education service who can liaise with school/college to help get the right support in place.

Whizz-Kidz Mobility Equipment
Whiz-Kidz provides a range of mobility equipment to children and young people with a physical disability to give them independence at home, at school, and at play. If the local NHS Wheelchair Service does not provide equipment to meet the essential mobility needs of your child then they may be able to help.
