I am a Professional

If you are a professional wanting to make contact with SENDIASS regarding an individual, please note that we are unable to accept referrals from professionals.  Please signpost individuals to our service so that they contact us directly.

The support we provide will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, aiming to assist as many families as possible. In many instances, initial support may be offered via email or telephone.

Due to the high demand for our service, attendance at meetings will only be considered when there is a clearly defined role for SENDIASS that cannot be fulfilled by other services involved.

Can I make a referral?

In order for us to support a young person/parent/carer who lives in Havering, the prospective service user must contact us themselves, this is because we must work at arm’s length from the local authority so that we remain an impartial service.

Therefore, please signpost relevant individuals to our service as follows:

Telephone - 01708 433885
Website Enquiry - Online Contact Form

Training

If you would like Havering SENDIASS to deliver training to your organisation or parents/carers, please contact us highlighting the topics you wish to receive training on.

If SENDIASS are unable to deliver the training we can signpost you to other organisations that may be able to help.

What if the person I am supporting does not live in Havering?

It is a statutory requirement that all local authorities in England must provide a SEND information, advice & support service.

If the person you are supporting or working with lives outside of Havering, they can find their local SEND IAS service via the following link:
